NASALA HMONG NEW YEAR FESTIVAL

This is the Festival
That wasn't to be.
It happened for some
But, not for me.

EVERYONE MET AT THE CHURCH BEFORE DRIVING TO NASALA. I WAS HOME FEELING VERY SICK. I MISSED A FUN DAY BUT I GOT WELL QUICKLY.
GLENN WENT AND GOT SOME GREAT PICTURES!

The girls are tossing cotton balls (tennis balls) back and forth to potential suitors.

I'm very sad that I missed it.

Several from the branch were able to go.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

HMONG NEW YEAR FESTIVAL Ban 52

If you want to see beautiful people
In bright and radiant hues
In styles you'd never expect there
Come see the Hmong Festival views.
This is Morley's family. They served us a delicious meal and let us see the excitement of everyone getting ready for the Hmong New Year Festival.  Morley's mother is a good cook.

Morley's father and his grandson. The next few pictures are of family and friends of Morley.

This is Morley's lovely grandmother between Samantha Holmes and Jenny Her.

This guy just asked if he could have his picture with the ladies.

The next several pictures are just colorful strangers.

Here are some familiar faces.

With our branch president, his wife and granddaughter. Also, Idvue Youaxa with the pink umbrella and Morley's grandmother next to President Kompadith.

Morley's family, with all of us who came to visit.
